个人简介
Dr. Yi Li obtained her PhD degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore in 2001. She is a research scientist at Genome Institute of Singapore, in charge of a small analysis team for Human Genetics. Her research interests primarily focus on the genetic dissections of complex traits and diseases. While participating in association study projects for a variety of human diseases, she investigates mathematical and statistical tools that are tailored for modern genetic studies where a huge number of polymorphisms were tested using a small to moderate number of available samples. Dr. Li is currently interested in integrating genetic and various genomic data to identify GWAS/EWAS signals for the downstream functional studies. She is also looking at the issue of population structure in the rare variant association studies.
